Rob Baker

Rob is a graphic design artist, works for Apologetics Press, and serves as a minister at the Wetumpka Church of Christ. He has been involved with ICYC for 11 years.

“I’m passionate about ICYC because of these kids and the future of the Lord’s church.”

 

Steve Carlton

Steve is an engineer and serves as a youth minister at the Farley Church of Christ. He has been involved with ICYC for 11 years.

“I didn’t grow up coming to camp, and, once I came, I realized I missed out on 40 years of awesomeness! I have seen first-hand the impact that youth camp has for the cause of Christ. This is one of the closest things to what heaven will be like that I can think of.”

 

David Courington

David is retired and serves as an elder at the Sylvan Springs Church of Christ. He has been involved with ICYC for 51 years.

“My grandchildren and all of their friends and influencing them for Christ at a young age.”

 

Mike Gurganus

Mike serves as a minister at the Goodsprings Church of Christ. He has been involved with ICYC since 1971.

To me, ICYC is the closest we can be to heaven on this side of eternity.”

 

Rob E Gurganus

Rob is a teacher and serves as a minister at the Dovertown Church of Christ. He has been involved with ICYC for 51 years.

“I was baptized here, have been prayed for here, and have taught Christ to many others here. I’ve learned beautiful songs here and made life-long friendships. I met my wife, Emily, here, and we’ve raised our own two children Anna Laura and Drew, coming here every year abd getting closer to God and His church.”

 

Tom Larkin

Tom serves as a minister at the Union Church of Christ. He has been involved with ICYC for 35 years.

“I’m passionate about ICYC for the opportunity to have an influence in the lives of young people that can extend into eternity.”

 

Alan Middleton

Alan is a pipeline supervisor and serves as a deacon at the Northport Church of Christ. He has been involved at ICYC for 15 years, and is the current president.

“I love ICYC because of our kids connecting to God.”

Stephen Vincent

Stephen is a pharmacist and is a member of the Blackwater Macedonia Church of Christ. He has been involved with ICYC for 15 years.

“I’m passionate about ICYC because it’s the best tool to spread the Gospel in Walker County.”
